As you know, we have rules regarding watermarked "Fringe" screencaps - this is to prevent shameless advertising by non-affilited sites.

However, we know that visual elements are an important part of the fandom. Which is why we recommend using either of the two sites below if you want to post screencaps on the forum.




Of course, you are free to use any of the screencaps (watermarked, or otherwise) posted by Fringe-Forum.com or FringeBloggers.com, or any photos straight from FOX.

*Some of the screencaps on these sites are very large - although we have an auto-resizer on the forum, please consider scaling these images down prior to posting them (max of 600 pixels width would be good) - this will enable pages the load faster, thus improving your FF browsing experience.

Alternatively, feel free to capture your own screencaps. You can do this using the "Print Screen" option on your keyboard (more instructions here). A better way - if you have an episode saved to your computer (i.e. avi, wmv formats), is to download a free media player such as VLC.

Once downloaded you can capture any image from any moment of an episode by using Video > Snapshot.

Of course, you will need your own web hosting or a photobucket/imageshack (free) or similar photo hosting service to embed the images into the forum. Alternatively, each member is allocated attachment space.
