Question How many seasons of Fringe?

Do we have clues about how many seasons of Fringe there will be? Does anyone know anything more about this?

As long as keep watching, the show will stay on the air. I don't think it needs to have infinite number of seasons, it's not a show like Lost where I think it needs to have a set number of years to unfold.

I think 4 would be the absolute minimum I could deal with without being very sad about it ending. 5 or 6 would be preferable and I would say 7 seasons maximum before a decline in the writing and story would happen.

How many seasons of Fringe, you ask?

As many as it takes to tell the entire story, tie all the loose ends, and not only have

a satisfying ending, but leaves us imagining the possibilities...

I always say 5 seasons is enough for any programme unless you can reinvent it like Dr Who can replace the lead actor no worries.

X-Files went stale after season 5 although I did like Doggert and Reyes in Season 8 and 9.
