If we are looking at the two realities..

Why is Bell in the "second" one, Nina said he was not in this world..
Is that because the second reality is better or safer for him to remain in?

Im curious as to why he is over there and not in our "first" reality...

Collecting information maybe? Keeping a close eye on them?
I would hope that he would remain Patriotic though, and not ditch us for the other-side . Because let's face it: Whichever side has MD + Bell would have a big advantage!

I'm really glad they had Walter say that! That they're still playing to scientific theories, even if they don't completley portray them (hopefully) for Fringe reasons....
