He sure did, I managed to write down most of them, I think one was Fibonacci, but the one right at the end, I can't make sense of. Perhaps part of a code to Massive Dynamic (either the ARG or something to come into play later in the show?)

-I may have only noticed it now but there was the Phi symbol in the center of the frog. Was that there before?
    Yup, it's always been there

-Maybe Phi (1.6180339887) is related to the numbers Walter was repeating at the end? I was never good on IQ tests with recognizing patterns in numbers, anyone want a shot at it?
It's certainly worth considering. I'm not an expert on Phi, so hopefully someone will lend their expertise

-Was there any importance of the images shown behind Broyles and Olivia in her dream? The Colors?
The images appeared to be flowers - perhaps tieing into the Fringe viral poster with the Daisy/dragonfly wing?

-Anyone check the number of fingers on that hand in the jar? was it 5 or 6? A wedding ring? Left or right? What kind of car was that, obviously a hearse but also previously used as ambulances. Maybe the make/model name relate.

I think it's 5 fingers - I'm actually a bit disappointed, would have loved to have seen 6 fingers, as per the viral hand. Anyone think it could be Nina's old hand?

-Are all episodes going to be previous unsolved cases between Olivia/Scott? Was Scott there to make sure they remained unsolved (as he tied up loose ends with Steig case?)
I don't think they will. Least I hope not!

-I mention it in another thread but I'll repost here now that it's not a spoiler. I think conserring The great Experiment as a need to balance, a need for equilibrium. Think of the pilot, one of the few examples of The Pattern or The Great Experiment is that of the children disappearing in 1998 and reappearing all over the world un-aged. And tonight's' episode is about a woman who conceives, comes to full term, gives birth to a fully developed child in an hour or so, then the boy grows to an old man within the episode.
Sounds like an equilibrium doesn't it? The children not aging balances out the child in Ep 1.02 rapidly aging.

Interesting. Often those who are trying to create 'equilibrium' in the world can sleep easy at night because they feel that it's a necessary sacrifice - part of the greater good, so to speak. I'm not sure that this is what you're getting at, but your notion is interesting nonetheless.

Okay, well this series is very much like Diet Coke for me. Its missing that ingrediant. I think this is mainly because I haven't 'got' what the show is about if that makes sense and all the links etc..

Both episodes have had an excellent start and an excellent finish but have, for me, gone abit slow in the middle. Its not that its boring its just that I'm easily distracted which never happens with, say Lost where you have the mysteries and suspense to look forward too or Prison Break with it's Candyfloss action sequences. I have not really 'connected' with the characters at all. By episode 2 of Lost, I know all 14 character names, who I liked and disliked but with Fringe I only know Olivia and Walter by name!!

I sometimes think I'm turning into Walter as I forgot about that girl assistant that worked for the team! - The FBI cop seems abit of a screen waster.

I also wish Lance Reddick's character would be more deadpan like Jack in Alias or Locke in Lost whereas when the jokes are there such as the hot air seat and the give me a payrise I wish he showed an expression but theres nothing at all which kind of makes him boring. Mysterious but boring. Hell I prefer his character in Lost!

Of course, I maybe missing the entire point of the show. I mean I was clueless when I saw the very last scene with those three bodies on the bed . I know red haired lady with the false arm is obviously hiding things the lab are doing but its abit convienent if they are all to do with Walter's cold cases.

Anyway, its missing something like that special ingrediant that makes coke coke. It could have been worse it could of been like Dr Pepper - weird and tasteless but although this review is a bit negative I did enjoy most of it and give it a 7/10.

Although whats with the 70 minute time slot for 42 mins of action? Thats like 28 minues of adverts

    Lightbulb the insane bishop

    I know, I'm late.
Maybe the whole episode turn aorund a specific religious icon : Margaret the virgin.
    Let me explain :
    - firstly, Margaret is the english for Marguerite (french name of the daisy flower),
    - secondly, in art, she is usually pictured escaping from the dragon. (a daisy and a dragonfly... remember)
    - finally, believers consider her a patron saint of pregnancy. (wikipedia).
Religious references could perhaps fit, don't forget that the main character name is bishop!
Notice that the chess piece "bishop" is called "fou" in french... which means insane... and Walter is, I think, the insane bishop !

I hadn't seen this episode for ages, but I actually just caught half of it on Sky. It's sort of funny looking back at the second episode; seeing how characters have come on, and how the story has moved on!
I enjoyed Broyles' briefing of Olivia, Peter and Walter to the others, and Nina challenging him about his decisions. Entertaining.
credit to stupidream for the icon.
One does not simply walk into Mordor.

Huh. I haven't seen this episode in a while, Hulu has from "Bound" to the end of the season. This was the only one alluding to 'another' Peter in my mind. Great Fringe science in the 'eye' camera.
