The Shapeshifter's Leader & The Guardian
So Bell tells Olivia that they had to prepare a Guardian, a person who could open & close the gate from here to there. My question is: Did they prepare that Guardian? If yes, then where is he? And how can their leader open the gate? How did he die? And since the shapeshifters are already here, why do they need a gate? So many things that have me in a limbo!!! Can someone help and clear this situation!!

Well having watched the olivia & bell scene again, olivia is definitely the guardian. Bell said that he has learned about the imminence of the war from history repeating itself meaning that there have been wars before. The leader may have died in the previous one & now they have successfully got him alive again.

Olivia is the guardian.
Because she was the one who is "special" as Bell called her. She is able to sustain the multiple effect of cortexifan.
She is the only one who can stop this.... non-sense. LOL.

Bell told her that he and Walter were preparing a guardian that is what the cortexphian trails were all about. Olivia was the strongest of them all therefore she is the guardian. She has to seek out the shape shifters leader and prevent him from opening the doorway.
My hate Olivia campaign is over.
