wow, good call there eagles eyes. MD is everywhere, even made the car they discovered in one of the storage sheds in the pilot episode. and here i was thinking it was an MG ... for shame.Notice the MD logos on the side of the beds.

Good catch leeree when i first saw this while watching tv i thought that the one in the middle was agent scott but i now see clealy that its Christopher Penrose. now we have to think about what kind of impact will this have in ep3 if at all.
Could go either way with the MD... could be they just manufactured the test tubes or could be they were running that facility... imo MD would have a much cleaner more upscale and better lit room for their clones...
hmm massive dynamics always seem to be ahead of the curve on the fringe sciences, at the end of episode one they seemed to have machines for mental transferrence ready for agent scott. Maybe at the end of episode 3, they'll be ahead of the curve again with mind reading or however they want to spin it?

What i am wondering is that if William Bell was partners with Walter, he would have been able to see info on the cloning, he might have even worked on it, unless penrose continued working on the project alone, i dont see why bell would pay him to do it.
another thing is that this means there are 2 clones, or where,
where is the other one? is he killing too? how is he keeping alive?
The lighting issue is important in that certain cells (skin or otherwise) are highly sensitive to fluorescent lighting. Thus would be the reason for the light to be dimmed. This still does not get MD off the hook though. Even if someone else is running the operation now, it is still MD's incubator pods that were created in the first place. Their hands are still in it even if not directly. Nina did state that they have subsidiaries all over the world. Does this get her off the hook? Yes and no! Publicly she can use this angle to claim innocence and ignorance but privately could still be bank rolling the operation through corporate loopholes and double account books that have been doctored and cleansed in such a way as to keep her hands clean. As Walter himself stated in referrencing the habbits our perception when using an example of the Gestalt effect: "it always comes back to the duck". In all these cases so far, the duck always seems to be MD.
