Well, that's my hypothesis.

1. We have news that Nimoy is leaving Fringe.

2. Nina seems to not getting a reply from Bell.

3. A group of shapeshifters are after Olivia because of the Omega Man information - the information came from Bell. Whoever in the alter world knew that Olivia met with Bell, and knowing how powerful the alter world enemies are, it will not be impossible for them to form a group that will track down Bell and killed him.

I don't think so, actually.

As for your spoiler item, that is still up in the air technically. I read everything I could... it's not as definitive as that. It may be "likely" even, but it's not definite.

As for Bell being dead, I think that one of the "Bells" is dead--Alter-Bell. But "our" Bell? No, JJ & co. need him alive and well long enough to really push some things forward.

Although I honestly think that perhaps the Bell we've seen is not actually William Bell.

I agree. William Bell doesn't seem to be leaving- Nimoy maybe, but not Bell. So I don't think he's going to be killed off at this point. And there's also the fact that Bell and Walter have to meet up soon . so though there are many mysteries surrounding Bell, we'll just have to wait and see what these mysteries are, I'm afraid.
