But if they have to do it to keep the show on the air, i'm fine with it. I'll just look away.
Please, let not Fringe go down the Alias path in any other way. Alias frustated me to the point where i had to shut the tv off and say outloud "ok that's it, i'm done". I never watched a single episode after that. I think it was near the end of season 3 or the beginning of the 4h, can't remember. I couldnt stand what they were doing to a once awesome show, nothing made sense anymore, many questions were never answered or explain, the characters were shadows of their formers selves, etc. I don't want it to happen to Fringe, i have faith, but since it's the same creative team, it will always be in the back of my mind. Hope they know what they're doing with this one...
*please*

I noticed, yeah. I vividly remember the commercial that followed, for Ford, thinking "no **** Sherlock."
Clearly Ford is a major sponsor of Fringe, so we should be thankful for that. Not to mention, if they're providing Ford cars to the show for free, that's saving them a TON of money. I remember reading an article once about how much it cost to rent (that's right rent, for some reason it was actually a better thing to do) the cars on Charmed. Not a pretty sight.

I have a Ford Fusion and it's a great car. It just happens that it has the Microsoft Sync technology built in. I've seen other cars with the ability to turn up the volume on the radio from the stering wheel, but I don't really see anything wrong with using the Ford in this episode.
I really like Fringe and I hope it continues to create good episodes. I think it would be a shame if people boycott the show just because of a brand that they don't like.
That would really be a shame.
Sorry but what's the big deal? Did you even pay attention to the whole episode?
Let look on the other side for a moment, Although annoying these are there is a thing behind them that is show Fords Commitment to safety by showing how sync actually works, if you know how it works or what it does you will look on the other side of the coin and a light will come on.. OH YEAH DUH as you smack your forehead, by saying they are trying to show us how to safely drive and communicate or find directions, (hence it was a navigation unit) and all by keeping your hands on the wheel. however they could do things a bit more low key I agree there but when a company provides props or equipment you have to find a way to get the endorsement across.
