id like to start by noting, that WHY is Peter still driving a station wagon? if he wrecked the other one, shouldn't he get a nicer (from this decade at least) vehicle?

Honestly, I didn't even pay attention to the car.![]()
but i bet you DID pay attention to Peter sunglasses. and how they made him look extra cute! LOL
Very good episode.
Here are my thoughts (Presented on a silver platter):
-I find that it's always interesting when other cultures are involved in the show. It adds a nice touch, especially with the atmosphere.
-Walter' relationship with Astrid was expanded upon, which I liked. You can tell that they have built a strong bond over the course of the time spent together in the Lab.
-On the same note, Peter and Walter were never stronger. This is probably going to be the highpoint of their relationship, before Peter discovers his origins.
-The Transponder scene at the end rocked.
-I was ever so slightly disappointed that the parasites weren't connected to the grander scheme of things, but the character development made up for it. (I was hoping that the worms were being designed by ZFT).
-I was also expecting some kind of OMG-type reveal at the end, but then I realized that if they did it every week, I would become accustomed to it, and the impact wouldn't be as great. The ending to this episode was nevertheless satisfying.
Overall, it was a nice treat, to set us up for next week, which looks superb.
Now, to cryogenically freeze my head for seven days...![]()
Of course I did.
I really love how Walter was in this episode. It was great seeing how much he cares about Astrid, especially since the interactions that we normally see between them is Astrid either being mildly annoyed with Walter or humoring him in some way.
I also loved seeing how much Peter really cares about Walter. I know that it'll make the fallout that much worse when he finds out the truth, but for now I'm enjoying watching them become closer.
If no one really got the name of the episode, this should help.
I found the worm-squid to be interesting, also; I noticed the fact Walter was singing that song he was in 1.16, which was also an episode about genetic engineering.
Next week's looks really interesting, can't wait...![]()
Maybe Walter didn't want a new type of car. He seemed to be a lot more assertive tonight.
i mean, at least a car thats all one color. the station wagon is two colors! and if he's going to be doing more alone/case work (like staking outside of an illegal chinese store housing illegal imigrants being 'operated' on to get big ol squids out of them) he should have something more inconspicuos. just imo
