These are really cool, Rekka! *goes to add you to watch list* I love your coloring style, it's really neat!
Since I posted a really crappy pic today, I thought maybe I ought to post a link to some other junk that I've sketched in the past. If anyone's familiar with DeviantArt, take a look at my page and send me a message! I'll add you to my list of people I watch, too!

here are a couple samples:
Hisoka & Akuma from my story, The Legend of the Golden Dragon
Random character design. I call him Naoya.
Character from a PS2 game, Black/Matrix 2, I think.
Another random character design. I call him Sam.
Main character from another story idea that I haven't written anything for, Chaos Braker. His name's Shainth.

Thanks, guys! Back in 2003, I think, I tried to sketch something everyday, and I learned a lot. I have a nifty light board that's great for transferring sketches over to an inked version that can be used to CG. But more recently, I haven't done anything. =P I need more time and motivation, I guess! heehee
Thanks a bunch for your comments!! You're the greatest!! *hugs*
I haven't posted anything here in a long time. =P
Here's a recent sketch for my story I've been meaning to finish. It's not done yet and I'm far from happy with it, but it was fun.
The guy in the foreground is Marix and the thing in the sky is Hisoka attempting to transform into his ultimate dragon form. Hisoka is within that little ball of light in the center of the flames & dragon wings; he's really small, so it's kinda hard to see. But it gives you a good idea how massive his dragon form would be when completed. The outline of the fire would be the size of the dragon's head. There's quite a distance between Marix in the foreground and Hisoka in the sky.
The theme for this sketch is "Limits", or "Finding One's Limits". Hisoka has really been through the wringer, and his demigod soul is damaged. Still he needs to access every ounce of power within him to lead a revolt against his twisted Goddess mother. In this scene he's trying to transform into his super-massive dragon form of legend. Whether he can maintain it or even achieve the form at all will be the surprise for later. lol I still have to write this particular scene, so even I don't know yet!!

Wow you're really good!!!!!!!
You should do this for living...seriously!
What if you and I, both of us, at this very moment were being manipulated?
Oh gosh, I wish!Although it didn't take me long to get this sketch down this time, I really doubt I'd be able to make stuff for a living. It'd be darn awesome and I'd love to do it, I just...don't think I have what it takes. heh But thank you!!! I'm glad you think so!!
Thanks! Nope, it's not from any manga or anime/animation. These are my original characters from a story I began writing in 1999. The books are still not finished.
I'm no artist and I don't have much talent, experience, or artistic know-how; so I really don't think I can get a job doing this. It certainly would be fun, though.2) You paint for one? If not now then you will in a after-job?
If Hisoka's able to attain his full dragon form, he's HUGE. In many images [in my head] that I have of him when he creates the planet, the whole Earth can fit in his hand like a baseball. Otherwise, he'd probably be about the same size as a T-rex maybe? His outstretched wingspan would make him seem even larger.3) How big could it get, the air-dragon?
That's an interesting article. =)
I'm gonna say his typical dragon form is relatively the same size as a T-rex. He's big but not massive.
The story deals with gods, demigods, and humans and the mix of them all, so the overall time of the story takes place over millions of years. There's a creation period where only the "gods" exist that sort of begins the mythology of the story, but I don't show those scenes all in sequence. They usually come out in bits and pieces throughout the story.
