    Lightbulb A Pandora's Box

    "Subject 13"
The Brooklyn Dodgers never left New York City.
Peanut M&Ms do not exist, or at least did not exist in 1985.
Young Peter does not deny the existence of the city of Los Angeles in the alternate universe, further substantiating that California is only geographically smaller in the alternate universe.
Prohibition obviously didn't work in the alternate universe either (if alcohol was ever once illegal in the United States to begin with in the alternate universe).
Olivia, as a young girl (Karley Scott Collins), momentarily finds herself in the parallel universe, while fleeing her abusive stepfather. She crosses-over again, panicked to see Walter, but transits into alternate Secretary Walter Bishop's office at Bishop Dynamic and hands him a drawing of herself and young Peter in a tulip field.
Notice Walternate's office desk computer circa 1985. Do you suppose they had the Internet in 1985 in the alternate universe?

I'm sorry, I see that now...for some reason I thought it was following only one post, instead of several. My apologies.

    From 2010:
Now Playing At A Fringe Alternate Universe Theater Near You
"Superman vs. Batman 2" ("Superman vs. Batman 2"!?!)
"Indiana Jones and the Hex of the Hydra"
"Star Wars: Legion of the Droids"
    "Splash 7: Love Sinks"
"Smokey and the Bandit: The Final Lap"-could be an indication that Jackie Gleason is still alive in the alternate universe. In this universe Jackie Gleason died on June 24, 1987 and starred as Sheriff Buford T. Justice in all three of the "Smokey and the Bandit' theatrical films made over here, the last one of which was released in 1983. Jackie Gleason in this universe was most famous for his role as New York City bus driver Ralph Kramden on the CBS sit-com "The Honeymooners". Did "The Honeymooners" also air in the alternate universe?
    "Mask vs. Joker" (?)
Sears apparently also exists in the alternate universe among other things.

"Superman vs. Batman 2", an apparent sequel to "Superman vs. Batman" in the alternate universe, was an aborted movie project in this universe which writer Akiva Goldsman had worked on and fictiously featured on an abandoned New York City billboard in Times Square in the futuristic post-apocalyptic film "I Am Legend" in this universe.

    "Bloodline"
"The Nutcracker" also exists in the alternate universe.

Chinatown in New York City also exists in the alternate universe.
China is also celebrating the "Year of the Rabbit" in the alternate universe.

I wonder what type of regime China has in the alternate universe.
Alternate Olivia suffered from Eclampsia before giving birth.
Accelerated gestation technology can grow a first trimester human fetus to full-term in less than a day.
Alternate Olivia gives birth to a baby boy.
Walternate wants himself and everyone else to believe that Peter is the father. (He could be!!!)
Alternate Lincoln Lee considers the alignment of Alternate Olivia's return with alternate Broyles' disappearance.
The Secret Service also exists in the alternate universe.
In the Bloom County comic strip, Opus is a peahen rather than a penguin, and the strip is still being published as of 2011.
Francis Ford Coppola directed "Taxi Driver" instead of Martin Scorsese.

    Fringe Television
    From 2010:
Fringe Now: Alt Universe Articles - Princess Diana
Princess Diana is still alive in the alternate universe and is now a queen.
Britain's Queen Diana is arriving tomorrow in the United States for a four day official visit. Her majesty is expected to land in New York, stop over North Texas, before heading to California.
As always, for security purposes, there are reporting restrictions about her itinerary. The 50 year old monarch will attend a variety of functions, meet several politicians and visit schools, hospitals and community centers in an attempt to raise awareness for the charities she is invovled with, as well as …
Prince Charles and Lady Di never divorced and are now King Charles and Queen Diana of Great Britain in the alternate universe.
In this universe the marriage of Charles and Diana was formally ended in divorce on August 28, 1996 and on August 31, 1997, a year and three days after the Prince and Princess divorced, Diana was killed in a car crash in Paris, France, along with her companion Dodi Fayed and driver Henri Paul. Prince Charles remarried on April 9, 2005 to Camilla Parker Bowles in a civil ceremony at Windsor Guildhall.
What happened to Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip in the alternate universe?
Who was (is) Dodi Fayed and is he still alive in the alternate universe?
Who was (is) Henri Paul and is he still alive in the alternate universe?
Who is Camilla Parker-Bowles in the alternate universe?
Is Ireland a united independent country in the alternate universe?

    From January 22, 2011:
Fringe Now: Alt Universe Articles - Bubonic Plague
Bubonic Plague has not been eradicated in the alternate universe.
CDC officials have confirmed that an epidemic of Bubonic Plague appears to have been contained at a Flagstaff hospital. This after 178 patients and staff were infected Monday, forcing the CDC to put the building in lockdown.
On Tuesday, the Red Cross moved in to issue inoculations to the infected.
Preliminary results from blood toxicity tests indicate that the outbreak has been eradicated and...
    What is the CDC?

    Lightbulb A Pandora's Box

    Fringe Television
    From 2010
    Fringe Now: Alt Universe Articles:
"Smallpox Obsolete - Frank would have an easier life."
Frank is Alt-Olivia's boyfriend, who works for the CDC.
Dead Dog Distubance. German Shepards are dying in epidemic proportions.

    From February 23, 2011
    Fringe - Alt. Universe Articles:
"Smiley - The saber-toothed tiger has been genetically resurrected."
The New San Diego Zoo is creating a habitat for "Smiley," the first genetically resurrected saber-toothed tiger. Smilodon fatalis, which thrived in the Pleistocene epoch over 12,000 years ago, will be available for public view later this year. The zoo hopes it will be joined by an American mastodon by 2014.
San Diego does exist in the alternate universe as well, further substantiating that California is just geographically smaller in the alternate universe.

    From March 1, 2011
    Fringe - Alt. Universe Articles:
"Tucker Auto - The company claims to have fixed past problems."
Tucker Auto announces a new line of electric-fusion passenger cars. The company claims to have fixed past problems with catastrophic engine meltdowns, which led to high-profile lawsuits during 2006 and 2007. A company spokesman says the new vehicles demonstrate the firm's ongoing commitment to green innovation.
The Tucker Car Corporation in our universe folded in the 1940s, due to lawsuits and an SEC investigation. The Tucker '48 was a very futuristic car for its time, including features such as a "water-cooled aluminum block, flat-6 rear engine, disc brakes, four-wheel independent suspension, fuel injection, the location of all instruments on the steering wheel, and a padded dashboard." An electric-fusion engine, however, was not an option.

    More alternate universe features.

Actually, it appears to be called the New San Diego Zoo. It would seem that there is a New San Diego city somewhere in the US that was founded after the previous San Diego being destroyed/submerged by the earthquake/tsunami event that apparently wiped out most, if not all, of the State of California.

In other news, this particular AU tidbit is pretty awesome.

The articles reads more that the Zoo is new, not the city.
