    "The Abducted"

Red Hook Marina does not exist in New York City in this universe.

However, there is a Red Hook Marina that exists in the U.S. Virgin Islands over here.

    One More Look:

    The Alternate DC Comics

Alternate Olivia and Alternate Lincoln Lee act like they’ve never heard of Batman in "Everything In Its Right Place", yet it was established in "Over There, Part 2" that the character does exist over there (he’s depicted in two of the alternate comic book covers hanging in the high-tech state-of-the-art apartment that Walternate set up for him in lower Manhatan.)

Original covers are on the left; "Fringe" alternate covers are on the right.

Batman: The Dark Knight Returns: Frank Miller’s seminal graphic novel in this universe. Superman: The Man of Steel Returns in the alternate universe.

    • The Crisis on Infinite Earths: the issue where Supergirl died. Superman dies in her place in the alternate universe.

    • The Death of Superman: one of the biggest events in DC history in this universe. The Death of Batman in the alternate universe.

    • Justice League #1: Guy Gardner replaced with Jonah Hex 'over there'.

    • Green Lantern/Green Arrow 'over here'. Red Lantern/Red Arrow 'over there'.

The comic book character M.A.N.T.I.S. is also quite popular 'over there'.

    "Olivia"

The United States Capitol Building in the alternate universe has a golden roof.

San Francisco does still exist in the alternate universe:

Some people became fascinated (including myself) with the idea that a part of California (especially San Francisco because of the 1906 earthquake and the Transamerica Pyramid being built in New York City instead of San Francisco) may have sunken into the Pacific Ocean at some point in time in the alternate universe because of the shrunken size of alternate California.

However, if you study the alternate map of the U.S. really close, you will see San Francisco Bay, farther south than it is in this universe, but still there.

Far enough south for San Francisco and Los Angeles to be possibly considered twin cities like Minneapolis/St. Paul, Dallas/Ft. Worth, or Detroit/Windsor. Or just far enough away from each other to be considered separate cities like Baltimore and Washington, D.C.; nonetheless, still there.

You always had to read between the lines with "Fringe", and the placement of San Francisco Bay on the map is possibly and probably a clue that no natural disaster ever caused California to be smaller in the alternate universe. It was always that way. And the Transamerica Pyramid just happened to be built in New York City instead of San Francisco.
