    I'm not surprised that the ratings went up a little, I'm sure there were some who refused to watch last week seeing the previews. I watched it last week even knowing how bad it was going to be but I really wouldn't have blamed the ones who decided not to watch. Anyways I hope the ratings are good on the finale episodes!

    As bad as Brown Betty was, it never entered my mind to stop watching Fringe. I don't think it would enter a Fringe watcher's mind. Brown Betty made it be a more excruciating wait to the next ep. And by god, it was worth it. My opinion is ratigs are very good, considering the time slot. J.J. will get better time slots from fox from now on I geuss, but thats just me. Peace

    Like with Brown Betty. And like what's STILL happening, to an extent, with Brown Betty. XD I don't remember people going to the ratings thread of the episode after Earthling and saying "It would have been better if it wasn't for Earthling".

    All I'm saying is that people are making a lot of fuss over the bad ratings of one episode, but that's not even the worst rated episode as far as viewers. We've recovered from way worse.

    New week. New episode. Last week's the past. It's cool.
    I've changed my mind. I don't think the show is going to die because of brown betty. I think brown betty was aired because the show is already dead. Third season will be the last. They knew this and hence brown betty. What could they have had to lose?

    Way worse? As the previous poster states, the show is going towards an anounced death. Expected when people think it's great to go up to 5.something million. Fox executives must be cursing the day they renewed for a third season.

    The Musical episode was Fox's idea.

    Fox already renewed the show and has faith in it so all naysayers will just have to deal with it. BTW, do these naysayers even watch the show?

    It looks like they do watch the show, else what would they be doing on a fringe forum site. Fringe isn't dying, it has enough to support it and more. I'd rather watch fringe than the mentalist or smthng. As it is with the war from the universes, this is just the beginning Peace out.

    Well, fans do not usually wish the show to fail or say Fox would curse the day they renewed it for a third season.

    But anyways, Fox renewed it so that's all that matters.

    I'm very glad FOX re-newed FRINGE and I'm wondering why they still didn't released the DVD/Blu ray Season 01 box here in the Netherlands. {I bought my copy on eBay! }

    I think it is like NCIS: in the show-beginning a lot of people confused them with CSI and thought that it was a spin-off #4 until they watched it and discover that NCIS is totally different....

    Perhaps some fellow-Dutchies think that FRINGE = X-file-likish...
