    Default The Typewriter Message

So, at the end of the episode Alt-Olivia goes to use the typewriter to communicate with the other side. She types:

    INFILTRATION ACHIEVED. AWAITING ORDERS.

I wanted to see if I could find a clue or something with the keystrokes on the typewriter... but all it said was this...

    ORDERS ARE...

I guess we'll have to wait until September to find out what orders Alt-Olivia was given.

Thanks for trying to figure it out with the keystrokes, Rekka! Don't we wish it were September already?!? In the meantime we can always speculate....

    ORDERS ARE: KILL WALTER BISHOP

since Walternate knows Walter is most likely the one who will know how to bring Olivia back.

So post what you think AltOlivia's orders are....

Sorry if this is a stupid question but.... does anyone know HOW does the typewriter actually works? Meaning the passing of information between the universes.

Its funny. I was thinking about that today.

My guess: Its either from the other side or its linked to a typewriter on the other side.

Also, do Walter and Walternate both have same typewriter with that raised letter?

I'm thinking the alternate universe's typewriter is quantum-entangled with the one on this side somehow.

We already know that the typewriter is from the other side, that's why whenever they go to the store, they ask for that specific model number--because it doesn't exist in our world. Exactly how it works, I dunno, though.

It would be interesting if her orders were to kill Walter because...she would have to get close enough to do so...and that would probably mean the infiltration scenario will not last very long. Here's to hoping.

Yes, it could be to kill Walter. Or, and I think this is more likely, to try to learn as much as she can about this world. If there is going to be a war, then one of the main strategies is to find all you can about your opponent. So, I think that will be her mission, to intergrate herself into the team and learn what she can from them to take back to Walternate.

I just hope the thing that finally gives her away isn't that tattoo on the back of her neck...because that would mean someone would have to be VERY close to her to notice... >_<

Yeah, that was poorly thought out by the writers. They really should have had the typewriter in the mirror respond back to Fake!Charlie and Bolivia's typing.

i thought it was responding in the mirror. I wonder who's typing into the typewriter from the Other Side? Walternate, possibly?
