I have to say, Michael Cerveris was brilliant as "September" (The Observer) in last night's "The Arrival".

I hope he'll return as a recurring character - there's plently of scope there. Anyway, here's his IMDB.

This guy played Sweeney Todd in the Broadway revival, and he was really great.

I wonder if we'll be seeing the observer sing?

I think I would have liked it better if the producers NEVER released information on the Observer's character. It would have been mysterious if he never appeared in the credits, if his actual name was never known. But I do agree, he is my favorite character, most likely because of the secrets surrounding him.

Michael Cerveris continues to be an awesome actor, as September. You're still my favorite character! I love how FOX makes him appear in certain places, like sporting events and even American Idol. Now they just need him to make appearances in really popular shows like Lost, True Blood, and hopefully FlashForward, but I don't think those are likely.

I noticed a while ago that his IMDB lists him as having a role in Cirque du Freak, which I got very excited about, as I love those books. Has anyone else read them? Anyway, I think he'll be great at his role in the film.
It's out on October 23rd.
