It is a prevalent term in a lot of fiction where there is a romantic element to major characters. In this case, the "shippers" advocate a relationship between the main characters.
Or, perhaps they just like to hang out on the poopdeck.

Not so sure. Maybe I'm not as obsessed as I was back in season 1 with shipping but I still do ship Peter/Olivia very much. Nevertheless I absolutely loved the last scene. Dunno I just don't think it's healthy to take everything too serious *shrugs*.
