Anyways, I was so excited for this epsisode! I also sqealed like a little girl! I think going spoiler free probably made the epsiode more enjoyable for me. This is the first season I'm watching on tv so I'm avoiding spoilers like the plague. I thought this was one of the best fringe episodes ever! It was kind of like a mini thriller movie, and it probably helps that Olivia is my favorite character. My expectations were sky high for this episode and I was not dissapointed at all. The only hing I'm worried about now is that at the moment my favorite character might not be on the show
Our Olivia always has her bangs pushed back kinda, like without any hair on her forehead...not so anymore! It jumped right out at me, I don't know why.

This is a great thread. I really enjoyed this first part of the season premiere.

I don't think Olivia is faking altLivia. The B-Lymphocytes definitely took over throughout her escape due to the adrenaline (examples: unreal memory, incredible marksmanship, plugging Frank in for Peter, the safe house/home address, the yellow paint). However, adrenaline wears off. The memory-swapping process is highly experimental. I think without it - even though she is now in a lag time when altLivia's memories have taken over - the "blood barrier" will break down and her original memories will trickle back. At this point, I think she may just play the game to see how the altFringeDiv team can help her get back.

As for our universe, I'm still working on the Peter deposition and the whole pen thing. (Will need to watch the ep yet another time.) I don't trust the interviewer at all - his questioning and attitude (but he's probably just an incidental character here). I think it is significant that Peter is dressed in lighter clothing (white with a touch of gray) than everyone else in the scene - both inside and on the steps. Savior? Shining beacon? More than human?

However, I don't think Peter will be the one to discover altLiva isn't his Olivia. It'll be Ella first (because kids are good at those things) > Rachel > Astrid > Broyles > Walter. It may be a while for Peter to come to grips with this.

On a side note, in watching the last few season 2 episodes and 3.01, I think that we'll gradually get a finer, complete view of Olivia. Right now we're up close, but I think this season will pull us back so we can see all the pieces that make up the talented Ms. Dunham.

    OK, I'll shut up now.

And twiddle my thumbs until Thursday. Looking forward to part 2!

I also predict Ella will be the first to notice. And maybe no one will believe her and think shes just freaked out by Olivias new hair.

    I liked it.

The bathroom crying scene made me so sad for her.

Shes not faking. The other side is pure evil. They can force a state of mind on a person but they cant cross over. What a bunch of lames. LoL

She's not faking, but I also think there's something buried deep that will allow her to come back as our Olivia. The cab driver will be key in helping Olivia gaining back her memories. I don't think it was coincidence that she jumped into his cab.

I think we will learn that the Altuniverse also has agents from our universe as well (like possibly the cab driver).

This is a great take on Henry -- and it totally makes sense. If they have agents on our side, it only follows that -- based on the science of the show -- that our universe has agents over there. Could Sam Weiss be leader/organizer of this team?

The other side is pure evil.
I'm not entirely sure about that. I think Walternate is definitely, but altBroyles, altCharlie, Lincoln will be shown to be a bit more thoughtful and inquisitive, especially when Olivia begins manifesting her old traits and memories.

BTW, AppleFritters, both your handle and avatar have made me extremely ravenous for fried and sugary baked goods
