I finally got around to watching it... I AM HOOKED (and only on the 2nd episode but still...) I am in LOVE with everybody but I would have to pick either Mal or Wash as my favourites. I kinda also like Simon too but it's too early to tell.![]()
I went on Wikipedia recently to check, and it seems like when it was initially aired, the episodes were shown out of order.
The Train Job (episode 2)
Bushwhacked (episode 3)
Our Mrs. Reynolds (episode 6)
Jaynestown (episode 7)
Out of Gas (episode 8)
Shindig (episode 4)
Safe (episode 5)
Ariel (episode 9)
War Stories (episode 10)
Objects in Space (episode 14)
Serenity (episode 1)
Trash (episode 11)
The Message (episode 12)
Heart of Gold (episode 13)
If I had watched them in that order, I don't think I would've cared enough about the characters to stick around long enough to learn about them. I hate to say it, but it looks like this order, which was Fox's decision, is what killed it so soon.

Any one catch Browncoats Unite reunion? Good show, although Ron Glass wasn't there... We find out Inara's secret!

I did! It was great seeing them all together again.
Also had a chance to watch Objects in Space again, arguably the best sci-fi episode EVER made!
