Goodbye Newton

What are your thoughts regarding Newton's fate? I'm not sure he really gained anything by committing suicide. I think he could have found a way to escape from prison or at least BS'd his way forward. Instead he ends up on the floor in a pool of mercury. A little obvious don't you think?

But yeah, they know who he is and what he is capable of. That whole frozen head thing. Best thing to do with poor ol' Newton is to treat him like hazardous waste...

So lame. He was one of my favorite characters, so intriguing and so badass. It's really lame that he just crashed, got captured and killed himself once the information was secure. I guess it shows his dedication to his mission and robotic nature, but I was expecting him to be absent from the car when it crashed, or atleast find a way out of the cell or something, I mean, it's Newton...

This makes 2 awesome villains that have been killed off prematurely. Hope they will introduce another one (preferably with a british accent!). Perhaps alter-Jones?

its quite stupid. the 1st thing that came to my mind after the crash was, newton will run away or something. but he still stayed there.

I'll miss Newton, my favorite villain to date. The moment they captured him, it was clear that he had to die, so I'm happy, that he left us on his own terms.

I remember hearing an interview where Eddie Izzard talked about how hard it was to get work in America where he didn't play a villain.
