I should have updated this earlier - anyway, the entire S1 clues/easteregg observations can be found over at our clues section (season finale to be updated soon).

I'll leave this thread open/pinned in case anyone would prefer to post clues/eastereggs in this linear thread instead.

I am a bit fuzzy on terminology here. Are the "Easter Eggs" put in the episodes clues to be spotted which then give a clue (or simply increase a neurosis) to something that will happen in later episodes? And/or are they images that will reappear in some other form in a later episode? Regardless, I have noticed a lot of egg-like things. I am responding specifically to the butterfly on the woman's lapel. It was actually on a sidewalk sandwich board in the previous episode. The producers do this a lot. Sometimes images appear in successive episodes (as with that specific butterfly design), and sometimes they appear almost a full season later (there was a broach/necklace/thingie Nina was wearing in Season 2 - I think - that I'd seen on a gadget in season 1). I've lost track of all the images since I am a first-time watcher, but did so marathon-style. Watched seasons 1, 2, and most of 3 within the last month or so. I noticed repeating images within the first few episodes but was so into the show I didn't take the time to watch them a second time until last week. Please clarify if what I'm seeing is part of this Easter Egg theory or if I'm noticing something else.
    Thanks! =0)
