(what if this graffiti has something to do with Olivia-her mother and her stepfather???)
These images may also serve as a parallel between the Observer and humankind.

For if the Observers reside in/experience higher dimensions, then the scene represents how the "3D" Observers possess and perceive more dimensions than the "2D" humans on the wall...

    Just a thought.

I can't believe I just got this: the mention of Walter's friend from Washington state at the beginning of the episode complete with the Red/Blue glasses was a total "Twin Peaks" shout out to Dr.Jacoby on the show. I was a "Twin Peaks'" addict back in the day and I can't believe I just got that now. Double Easter egg, I think with the red/blue lenses and the "Twin Peaks" mention.

Hmm, I like this. Definitely a possibility.

For some reason, the "family" vibe of the graffiti in the background with the observer in the foreground has me thinking back on the First People "mystery". I don't know why. No particular logical reason, I guess, except that there seems to be a silhouette-person in each of the colors that up to now have served to differentiate (and hint at?) universes. Green/Yellow/Red. Don't know, it's probably too random on my part. But that's what I've been thinking.

True, though...according the Jasika's interview prior to this ep. we were told to look out for a very quick clue for the Peter/Bolivia romance not being over, etc. ...so looking at this episode through that filter I had a clearly different interpretation, which only reinforced my first and dreaded theory (it seems that every interview that I read lately points down that path, and the EPs, cast, etc. seem excited about it. Ugh.)

What if she was not talking about the graffiti..She may have meant the book...Peter explains to Olivia that the book is his favorite because it says that you have to rely only to yourself or something like that...That scene was at the very end as well...

    That's a cool thought.

We know too little about them to consider this as valid, though.

As I recall, there was a curly-haired woman holding a child on the left, a bald man in the middle (behind September), and a little girl on the right.

    What could this mean?

That Peter will become an Observer, and have to choose between the reality with a curly-haired Altlivia and her baby, or a reality where he is enamored with a 1985-Olivia?

This must be what's going on in Over There's version of Fringe.

What if the silhouette presents the Dunham's, Mrs Dunham holding Rachel, the stepfather and Olivia.

I mean, it could. But I still believe in the path of least resistance, the most obvious answer given the context - Occam's Razor.

Given the external context (of the cast interviews hinting at this new Peter/Bolivia development, telling us to look for a quick clue relevant to that), given that context going in, it only reinforces that theory in my opinion.

I mean the Observer drops a father reference next to a outline of a woman holding a baby. Doesn't really help to dispel that theory.
