Welcome to the clues and eastereggs thread for 3.12 "Concentrate and Ask Again".



This is a bit like an treasure hunt for the various clues that are intentionally (or otherwise) built into each and every episode of Fringe.



The clues are mostly visual and provide fun hints and major clues to the bigger picture. If you'd like to play along, please do so by sharing your observations in this thread!

Here are some ideas on what to look out for:

The Observer - usually hidden somewhere in the background of EACH episode.
The blue lights
The "Next Episode Clue" - each episode contains clues alluding to the nature of the following weeks episode.
Any other clues, shout-outs.

the glyphs spelled HATCH.... theories? Does it have something to do with the baby-gate rumors? Like AltLiv is going to Hatch their child. lol. Probably not...

I swear that I saw an easter-egg at the hospital.

The nurse casually says get Mr. Jones to the (ER?) and they wheel a guy on a stretcher quickly through the hallway. Seems innocent enough.

However, the guy looked very much (to me) like Jared Harris (David Jones).
This could have been a fun nod. Checking my DVR now. Can omeone screencap it please?

The producers have recently said in the "Lightening Round" video we will see the Alt-Jones.

UPDATE: Ok wasn't Harris, but it was a man who looked a lot like Jones. Not even sure the nurse said Jones at this point (still maybe?)so this one may be just my mind playing tricks on me.

In the beginning when Nina was opening the safe to Bell's things, there was a piece of masking tape that said "Do not touch. That means YOU" or something like that. It feels really personal due to the obvious lack of official warning, and the tone on the message. Does it hint to something in the past between Nina and Bell?

There has been much made of Nina and her past lovers. Walter and Bell seem to be on the radar. A love triangle was hinted in "Over There".

On the Violet Sedan Chair album there is a song possibly about Nina "Long List of Lovers" that has the lyrics "there was Walter and Will" or something to that effect.

Yeah, I did always get the vibe that something was going on between Nina and Bell. The tone of the message seems kind of hostile however. I didn't really think their relationship ended badly. In fact, from what she said this episode, it's more like nothing really happened.

Maybe the note was really for Walter, from the love triangle you mentioned.

I'm pretty sure the glyph code is referring to the season 2 easter egg "Don't trust Sam Weiss" This episode is following through, or hatching, that easter egg to further the plot.
