That said, as long as the show handles the drama well viewers will remain engaged in seeing how things turn out.

Or, put slightly differently, disliking one piece of information delivered in the episode (in this case, the pregnancy, or in the previous episode, Sam's statements) and as a result writing off the entire 42 minutes, is also counterproductive. If you look at this episode as a whole, it's wonderful and very well-made. If you really dislike AltLivia being pregnant, then take that out of the equation for a minute - it's clearly weighted very heavily in people's minds - and re-evaluate your opinion.

I'm just gonna say again that I truly enjoyed this episode.

I think there was a lot of great stuff in this one, what's already been mentioned, like the excellent visuals, the little bits of humour, etc. Personally, I LOVE Charlie so any visit to the alt-verse is welcome as a chance to see him again. I think it's given us more food for thought about Walternate and his agenda, that's for sure.

The problem with the last two episodes and why there's so much negative reaction to them, is, IMO, because human beings tend to remember best the end of things, the last thing they saw/experienced. So, even if we liked Charlie and bug girl and felt bad for this or that character or ooh'd at the zeppelins, if we didn't like the ending, that's the thing that sticks with us. We have to work hard to remember the stuff we liked that came before it.

Can Peter remain with both Olivia's? I wold really like that, and make butch of baby's. I mean they are not from the same universe so is not bigamy, right?

LOVE were the show is heading. Wise people the writers, and so what if the show is not going to make it, they will make a new one. Bunch of moaning fans who complain about the quality of the show...who needs quality?

I must admit with shame that I tremendously enjoyed practically the whole episode. And whereas I hate the pregnancy storyline, I think they did it in the least unbearable way.

I'm also relieved that the pregancy was not Walter's plan, which would be really disgusting. The way it is it is just sad and I must say for the first time I felt sorry for Altliv, it seems that she is not as unbreakable as she would like to be

I loved Lincoln and mostly CHARLIE, who is really an awesome character.

I also greatly enjoyed Frank in this episode and I think that character drama was well presented.

It is still the worst Fringe episode for me because of the baby thing but it does not mean I think it was a bad episode. Because it by no means was. Knowing what is going to happen (pregnancy) I was prepared to hate this episode, I tried really hard but I failed hopelessly

I must confess that after Marionette I lost inspiration to think about/discuss Fringe - which still is puzzling me to no end, because I've always loved an abundance of shipper moments in my TV fix.

And Immortality is the first episode to spark my interest again.

I don't really know what is the reason.

It's nice to see Charlie again. I missed Altlivia (I really did ).

The first scene with Walternate was very creepy for me, as it made me see first and foremost our Walter in Walternate.

And I liked the scientist - he reminded me of Marionette villain, there was something in them both to provoke acute empathy in me.

I was against pregnancy plot before, but now it doesn't bother me (I mean plotwise, it still can be as unfair to characters as however much we think it). I was opposite to the other universe story in summer, and now I feel unsatisfied without my weekly dose of Over There. I was fan of our Olivia thinking that Altlivia love/spy story is lame, and now I've found out that Altlivia is the real focus of my Fringe obsession. Even if I cringe a little over her inextinguishable smile (or an oversweetness of Lincoln).

I hope that this new development (Et tu, mister Sam Weiss!) would became a new Over There for me at least.

    I also greatly enjoyed Frank...

I loved this episode just like all the other alternate universe episodes! It is just so much fun to look for all the little (and big) differences between the redverse and the blueverse.

I love everything about this episode. It was fun, but also dwindled down to these serious moments in which the characters may start to change their viewpoints on everything.

I feel it was a real driving point, opening up ways for the show to branch out once again, but also to continue to explore individualized drives and purposes of humanity, as we explore our fears of death, or loss, and the unknown. To emphisize 'natures' and humanity's need to find a ways to preserve ourselves, be remembered, loved, and to 'live on'...

I personally enjoyed the episode very much, I liked the development with Walternate, and I liked that Fauxlivia has been broken a little bit. She has finally realised what she has gotten herself involved in.
