Fringe has, brilliantly, created a scenario in which the audience not only doesn't know which side will win, but also doesn't know which side they WANT to win.
are you kidding me? you must be working on the show.

While I have been amongst the most outspoken haters of babygate I'm still willing to keep and open mind and let the story progress and hopefully redeem itself. I'm still mad as hell at the moment...but... ever the devoted Fringe fan

It was very strange that Dr. Silva was working on the very thing that Walternate was to cure Peter. BUT something ironic. Silva wanted a pink reaction but it was blue. In "Peter" the pink reaction meant no cure but blue did. I wonder what that is about?
Hmm...thanks for bringing this up. I like the idea that there wasn't ever a way to cure Peter with a Blue reaction in the Redverse. Walternate would always reject it, but the same one would work in the Blueverse and did when Walter used it on Peter. It could mean that Peter would have never lived if he had stayed there and Walternate should have also let-him-go.

I agree, kinda. I will let them tell the story, and see how it progresses. But I think it was an unnessecary plot device to begin with.

Haha. No, I'm just a viewer.

Admit it, there's more of an emotional tension to the other side now.

This is so Ugh...

I also think the predictablity of the writing had me underwhelmed.

All the metaphors with the beetles as "parasites" and a "host", "gestation has begun" etc.

In the live thread I even called it, saying "Ok, she'll probably get infected, they'll have to run a med scan on her or something and they'll find that she has something else inside her." Way too predictable writing for Fringe, and then throw in the melodramatic scenes.

I just don't feel excited about this the way I did about the second half of Season 2. Now that was some cool build-up and smart writing!

well yeah. I'm just saying I won't abandon ship.

Also, Walter warned Peter in one episode that he should always use a condom. Listen to dad!!!
