    Default Olivia's Mother

    Have they ever told us where Olivia's mom was while these cortexiphan trials were going on? I liked this episode but I felt so bad for young Olivia, I just wanted to hug her.
    I kept thinking; Where the hell's her mother? Why is Olivia living with this abusive man? I know he was her step-father but that man needing to be beat.

    Presumably Olivia's mother and sister were around the house, but unseen here. Olivia's already mentioned a couple of times that her mother was cowed by her husband and did nothing about his abuse. Seeing her stand by and do nothing wouldn't add any new information.
