Definitely, which is what makes this potential friendship all the more sweet. I doubt Peter really knows what it feels like to have "friends" given his rough, loner past, but that doesn't necessarily mean that he will shun any and all potential friendly connections. To me, I see Peter changing ever since he got involved with the Fringe team--and meeting Olivia. It's made him much more vulnerable and open to other people.

I wish we could see better what Peter was like before he crossed paths with Olivia in Baghdad. I am not sure he was all that likable a character, but it would be interesting to see more of his back story, especially how the events of his childhood effected his personality.

My guess is that some way or the other the Alt Universe story will wrap up by the end of the season and this is the writers way of introducing Lincoln on this side so that we can still have him on the show in season 4.!?.!?

I like the Alt universe, it is interesting to a point, but I wish they would not spend entire episodes over there, it is a bit much.
