FRINGE HIATUS "CREATIVE LICENSE" CONTEST!!

The aim of the contest is simple:

Create something, an original piece of work, in honour of "Fringe" (the tv show) and our community, "Fringe-Forum.com". You have creative license to come up with anything - fanart, fanfic, videos, music, pictures..anything. Be creative, think out side the box!

CLOSING DATE JANUARY 26 2009

All entries will be judged by members of the staff team, and the winner will be announced on January 28.

Entries will be judged on the following main criteria (in no particular order):

Creativity
Relation to Fringe (tv show)
Relation to Fringe-Forum.com
Effort
Quality
Humour and/or "wow-factor"

PRIZE
The runner-up will receive an award icon for their profile and postbit, as well as increased PM storage facility of 100 messages (permanent).

The winner will receive a "winners" award icon for their profile and postbut. Increased PM storage of 150 messages, a coloured username for 1 whole month and a free copy of issue #2 of the Fringe comic, which is released Jan 28, 2009!!

Either post your entry in it's own thread in this forum, or PM it to a current member of staff.

Is it possible if I win to have the comic book scanned and e-mailed, or does it have to go through the mail? Just wondering because my parents would throw it out thinking it's junk mail before I could get to it

I got an idea for this during work today, very randomely. So I'll work on it, but if it doesn't work out I have a few backup ideas. Awesome competition, though! Will keep me busy during the *stupid* hiatus.

Just a quick update - I'll announce the winner tomorrow (I've been a bit snowed under of late, hence the delay).

For the winner, if you already have issue #2, and have no need for another copy, i'll happily pre-order issue #3 for you instead.

Btw, I haven't chosen the winner yet.
