Here is an audio clip of when Walter and co. were trying to convert the kids thoughts (with the halo neurostimulator thingy) into audible sound. It's wma format:
audio clip of observer kid's thoughts Here is a clip of them in REVERSE I didn't pick anything out when it played in reverse, so I'm guessing it's another language (perhaps one that exists)? I also wondered if what Walter was doing to "hear his thoughts" was similiar to Rogue's technique of listening to others' thoughts while inducing them into a specific emotional state? If this was the case though, I wonder why the connection to Rogue never seemed to enter Walter's mind (or Peter's for that matter). I am curious though if Walters' lab notes will show whether he considered the similiarities between the boy and his "friend" September. On a side note, I was disappointed Peter/Olivia/Broyles never pointed out the similiairties to the Observer considering their supposed awesome investigative skillz ![]() So, any thoughts as to what these thoughts are saying?

I'm surprised that there wasn't a backwards message there. Did you notice that his thoughts seem to have a certain melody and repetition to them? Maybe I'm just imagining things?

Do you think that the observers are sent into that tunnel so that they can learn to feel others feelings. When they get out they attach to one person , September to Walter, or this kid to Olivia. Thats why the observer cant taste(he asked for 27 jalapanos and poured a thing of pepper on his food) and why the observer knew that Peter and Walter were drowning and needed help.

I think it's a "child" observer coming out only to watch over the baby that someone will be having. The child was bonded to Olivia and now I kinda think she is the one who gets pregnant. The child will be back.

It sounds Asian....Not sure if it's Thai, Korean or Chinese...one of those. I'm from Asia....and what the child was saying in reverse sounds like one of those three. And no, I don't speak Thai, Korean or Chinese...

My theory is that this kid is from the other Universe, like September; so I'll say it is this kid's own language.
Also, I'm surprised this kid's thoughts didn't get faster as he became more tense and cold. They stayed at the same pace...? |

What i can hear in reverse:
Part 1 - English Nothing there pal Help... __________say I was just thinkin about I am (paul peterman?) ..... Help Second Part is the easter/asian tonality, can't decipher 3rd part sounds distinctly Russian or another Slavic European dialect, again, i can't decipher it.
